I was fortunate enough to have Tasha be my first introduction to powerlifting and heavy lifting in general a little over 3 years ago. She coached and prepared me for my first ever powerlifting meet, for which I was extremely nervous, but she made it so fun with her positive energy and enthusiastic spirit. To say that Tasha is an incredible coach and trainer would be a huge understatement. I am so inspired by her dedication and persistence to her sport. I am amazed to work with someone who has reached international elite status in powerlifting, and yet is always striving to be better while encouraging everyone around her. During my most recent meet prep, being coached by Tasha always left me feeling supported, challenged, and motivated. If you are trying to become stronger and healthier, working with Tasha is one of the best decisions you can make!

“After ACL surgery, I was eager to return to pre-injury life without pain, which did not happen after 6 months of physical therapy. I decided to give personal training a try and started to train with Dan at the Ideal Strength since Oct 2018. After 4 months of training, one day I surprisingly found that my knee no longer bothers me. No more pain walking up stairs, and I can even run up stairs! I was able to return to the slopes, feeling stronger and performing better, and enjoying skiing without worrying. I have been very impressed by Dan’s passion to help clients, his knowledge, and his scientific training methods (you should see his detailed spreadsheet!). I am lucky training with Dan, and he deserves the highest compliments from me.”

“Dan took the full range of athletic body motions and created “Ideal Strength Standards” that (for me) have 7 levels of performance goals across all the core movements. This makes it easy to understand where I am currently and what I need to do to achieve the next level in a given movement group. At the same time, it points clearly to any imbalances in my development. It also helps that he’s a great guy.
It’s pretty simple – work hard and do what Dan suggests – the results will follow.”

“Dan is an awesome, creative, supportive trainer. He’s a fabulous in-person coach but has also been immensely valuable in driving me to keep improving my health and fitness when doing in-person training was not an option. With the limited home gym equipment, we have, he has been able to come up with creative, challenging workouts to keep advancing my fitness and help me reach my goals. He keeps me accountable for my exercise and nutrition through the coaching app and provides videos for all exercises which makes the medium of at-home training very doable.”
